This morning, I found I cannot start the car after connecting the battery. No cranking at all. Green key light on the dash, both key fobs are not recognized by the car and cannot lock/unlock the door. I did some quick research, tried to push the shifter knob and it did not help at all. Also checked the battery voltage and all fuse, no issues found.

This morning on the way home from work it started blinking again and I pulled code P1740. I'll swap out that part and see if it fixes it, thanks for the info!

Unfortunately that date is difficult to predict.Weird SIMPLE stuff 😂. You can also monitor the system voltage to confirm that the alternator is working and the battery is being charged. Engine running, you should see 13.5 volts or higher. Engine off, your should see 12.2 or higher (12.6 is full battery charge). You can get a power port charger that will show the voltage.
