To get crane style, a level dip in Scaled Fist is highly recommended. That gives you both IUS, and Crane Style, and gives CHA to AC. I'm not sure you can build a magus as an effective nuker. They only get 6th level spells, and on a slower progression.

There's one you can buy in chapter 2, it's a +1 speed estoc that gives you a +2 morale bonus to DEX and d3 extra piercing damage on hit for a few rounds after you crit, that's probably the best one.
