This will be a long haul project because of course it is a much worse shape than I ever imagined it would be.
The 144782399 is not the serial number. It is a Model number. Here is the breakdown: 144- 1984 model year. 782- Tractor model 782. 399- IH Red paint scheme. The serial number would be the last six sequential of the lower number, which above is 737324. There should not be two tractors sharing the same six digit sequential number.Jul 31, 2020. #4.
