Remove the battery cables completely, touch the terminals together (you won't get shocked) and it will discharge the system and reset the radio. GuruSXKW3, thank you for your reply, saved us ! Upon returning from a trip my bluetooth in my 2017 Terrain turned grey, took to dealership, they made an appointment said I would have to leave my vehicle get a loaner etc. THEN I searched and saw your reply, had to take to a local mechanic to find negative post on battery, they don’t make things easy thats for sure, lo and behold it worked. OnStar is cool, but try and talk them down. It's just like the cable company, they want your business and to keep you so the will haggle with you.

Got it serviced a couple weeks ago. When I got it back, part of the sound system no longer works. Specifically, USB and bluetooth stereo icons are always "greyed out" even though there is a USB stick plugged in. Also, my phone connects to bluetooth for hands free calls, so the bluetooth connection is fine.
