The repairer will do a torque converter replacement, total transmission fluid flush and/or refill, or piston seal change once the source of the problem has been properly diagnosed. The fix could be a combination of a fluid swap and mechanical repair. With 65K miles it's become evident this truck has the shudder, the dealership is of no help, at all. ving the same issue with our Colorado's over here. 2.8L diesels with the 6L50 6-speed transmission. Mine is a 2017 with 86,000km, so 53,000miles. Gets a shudder under load, light throttle, 1,300 - 1,700rpm until it decides to drop down gear and get out of that rpm range. Drive it like a manual, and keep it above 1,700rpm, it seems ok (so far).
