To be honest there seem to be quite a few items, such as Kits, that do not dismantle in the benches, but 100% the Unique grade Hardened Steel weapons don’t work. Steelfire. There's a lot of really good PvE options. None of them are the best in all circumstances. I'd say the only ones to avoid would be spear, one hand mace, and the new greataxe.
