I skip as many shutdowns as I can, because when I don’t the damn thing goes through the boot process and throws me a RDK-03004 code, which remains for several minutes unless I tap the button on the remote to restart it sooner. It typically does this 4 or 5 times before it finally restores the cable signal. I have a RDK-10000 fault box on my TV. I've checked the power into the box and let it restart, Fault returned. I checked all the coax and HDMI connections. The blue light comes on the DVR box when I reposer it.
