The ability to hide AirPlay still exists. Still hidden on my 2017 P & E series after the last update. But that WatchFree trash input is back in full effect mode. I get what you're saying, like a hidden SSID. However, from a UX/UI perspective, for that particular feature, hiding it while in use doesn't make sense.
