Whats best would depend on what you are after. I have probibly shot 50 different bows since buying my Mathews DXT. To this day I have not found anything that comes close. It just fits me. Someone else may be lookin for something diferent from their equipment so a different bow would be a better choice. Good thing we have so many great choices.

V3X 33 vs Ventum Pro 33 yielded the Mathews on top at my DL. Hoyt felt like a stiffer draw to me. I really liked the new grip and new carbon riser. Hoyt definitely made some strides in the right direction this year. I enjoyed the RX-7 Ultra but can't get past the price tag. Shoot a PSE Evo XF 33 if you want to further complicate things.
