I'm looking into getting an M1A/M14 with tax return season approaching. I've narrowed down my choices to a new production loaded M1A or a James River Armory M14. Both are about $1500. Id be mounting a scope and using it for recreational shooting and hunting. The price point (so close to a SAI) makes this a great deal. i will have to call Classic on Monday to ask about the receiver markings - Bula usually do not mark them M14. All joking aside, I like and own both SAI an JRA M1a/M14 guns, but the SAIs put me through some pains that required costly alterations, whereas the JRA's are good from the go (and are a superior product in terms of parts and function) right out of the box.
