Just looking at, Lima and Cusco in isolation , I would say both merit 2-3 days and , if I had to choose , I would probably go for 3 in Cusco and two in Lima.

Huacachina is an optimal place to do these activities. I don't know what your budget is like, but if you want to save time, my suggestion is to Fly over the nazca lines from Ica (the city where huacachina is located). This will save you 2 hours and 30 minutes to Nazca, and then the same back to Ica.
