How to Survive The Helicopter Event in Project Zomboid. The helicopter has two pathways: First, it will spawn and fly around your current location. If you’re inside or in a deep forest and don’t go out, it won’t be able to find you. However, the helicopter will follow you if you step outside and try to run to another building or the forest.
The heli does actually look for players outside of buildings and if it does find someone, it will stick around for longer following them. Dec 18, 2020 · The helicopter event in Project Zomboid does not generally last very long. The most ideal situation for the helicopter event would be to have a vehicle full of fuel. As long as you are prepared to make a trip for a few days the helicopter should not be too much of a problem. Keep a backpack with food and water to last a few days.
