I have tried it on all three characters which have lost sector exotics missing from a few expansions. I own every expansion/DLC except for Lightfall, so it's not that I don't have access to the exotics I am missing from Beyond Light and Witch Queen. Defeat everything in the Lost Sector, especially the Champions. Chamber of Starlight can be glitchy whereby the Champs don't spawn properly until you reach the far side of the room near the chest. If you don't see Platinum Rewards in the feed, then not all Champions were defeated and you won't get an Exotic.
I have done platinum runs many multiple times on MASTER Sepulcher lost sectors around 40+ times over 3 days and ZERO exotic. Then on Quarry I can run that in 2-3 minutes on master and even skip champions and still get exotics, like 5 exotics in 10 runs, so it is 100% BS that you have to have platinum runs for a chance at exotics. 1. It's really not that confusing. It means that you're more likely to get an exotic drop from a 1840 lost sector. They are rare drops in 1830 and common in 1840. It's the likelihood of getting an exotic to drop, so in this case common is better. 1840 is a higher difficulty so the chances are better, hence the "common". 3.

Bad RNG i think.. I ran it for maybe 2 hours yesterday and got 4 exotic drops. But really only two drops as had dupes of both. 2 - Lucky Pants & 2 - Stompees. They really need some duplicate protection on those as earlier in the season I ran it a bunch with my Warlock and got the same exotic 4 times in a row.I noticed that if I blow through the boss fight, the platinum text flashes real quick.
