However if you do any power sanding on it there's a good chance you will get some weird stuff happening with micro bubbles/ solvent emtrapment in the top coat. Stix is a great bonding primer. One of the best if you do not want to use solvent-based (oil) primers. Unfortunately, it is not a very good stain blocker, and it takes 16 hours to dry.
