People saying a 1mz will pop at 7 psi are probably refering to the trd (piece of crap) supercharger that blows nothing but hot air past 6 psi, that will pop an engine fast. I don't know what that charger puts out at 10psi on a 1mz but it should be able to hold 300bhp, the tranny is the real issue unless you get a shift kit.

It has a closed deck design and has thick sleeves (at stock bore) that are plenty for making great power. I think they will make another one for the Scion tC 2012 (2.5 same engine as the gen6.5) But I don't think it will come anytime soon since the 2012 tC haven't come yet.
