Didn't work for me either but I think my hand drill was in the vicinity rather than in my bag. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think bullets can only be loaded into a mag if the bullets come from inventory and not vicinity. Its not a major issue but I think it should work either way. Also the torch would not light off a fire for me
