In theory, leaving without a notice is absolutely grounds to not be rehired so that wasnt scare tactics, avoid doing that lol. But since its been so long it couldn't hurt to apply and see. Just know though, its changed a lot in my 2 years I can only imagine how much has changed in 10. Wouldn't hurt to try.
