Sep 20, 2022 · I tested Kimber’s Ultra Carry II in 45 ACP. This is a short grip, aluminum framed 1911 style gun, with a 3” bull barrel. At 25 oz, it is a good gun for EDC. Brand new Ultra Raptor problems. Picked up my Ultra Raptor from the FFL yesterday, brand new straight in from Kimber. I bought an extra Wilson mag, compact 7 round. Tried to strip it down, and the "paperclip" was too long to do so. Clipped it down to where it would fit, stripped it and cleaned it thoroughly.
