You do not want to run accessories off of the engine circuit. No it is not a bad ECM. The white wire that feeds power to the keyswitch gets power from the power distrobution panel on the engine. There is no fuse on the battery. The main battery cable runs up to the starter solenoid. Off the starter solenoid there is another wire that feeds power to the panel. There are 2 fuses in there.Check the fuses first, then follow the hot wire back to figure out where it lost juice. I assume you did check that the coil does not have power rather than just noticing that it doesn't have spark, because there's a big difference there between the two.
