As other member here have said the Old King Cobra has a bigger frame, the same size of the .41 frame but with different internal parts. Te New Cobra has a compact frame more like a D frame in size,and its internal parts are closser to the SF-VI and in size too.
Got the 2020 Python 4.25" barrel with Deer Hollow Gen 3 replacement grips (didn't really care for the factory Altamont grips). The HKS PYA works on mine but just barely and not great at all. From my perspective the HKS DS speed loader works a lot better. I bought the DS for use on the new Cold King Cobra.
