Go with the Gen4. I`m in the same arena as 360joules. I have a G30S and the G29-4. I like the option of swapping things. But i always gravitate to the G4 frame every time. I own a G21/G4, G19/G4 & G30s/G3. The 30s is just the G36 slide on a G30SF frame. It is wider than the G19. The frame is wider and the trigger guard is wider, it will not fit in the same holster. The frame for the G30 and the G21 is the same size except for length, the 13 round magazines will fit both.
