The last time I worked on an Odyssey sliding door motor, tightening the slack involved pulling on the two finger tabs that stick out from that white plastic "cable drum" (I don't have a better word for it) and rotating it to tighten both the fore and aft cables simultaneously. If the hinge/roller has 100K on it and hasn't been changed then it probably needs it but it's not the cause of a non-working door.
