I have been having an issue with my truck the last couple weeks where the 4 hi and 4 lo lights come on and blink while the ABS and Traction Control light stay solid. Seems to be a common issue but cannot pinpoint a solution. Toyota want almost $1000 for that part alone and you'll still have to open the transfer case up to pull the actuator off. Instead I went a bought an used whole transfer case for $600 and put it on. If it's still flashing, move back to 4hi, drive forward a bit, then stop, put it in neutral, move to 2hi. Drive a little. Then if you still want to be in 4 wheel low, try moving back down to 4hi and then 4lo, moving a little between each change. PS you might have turned the 4 wheel drive knob by accident.
