Connections either time out - or I get a can't reach that site message / server not found message- although I'm showing connected in network and sharing. I'm able to ping my gateway - but when pinging things ... This does come with 2 caveats. The first is that you pick a single network so if you pass into an area where your providers tower's don't have good line of sight you will get disconnected. The phone won't try to find another network, it will just keep looking for verizon until you move to an area with better coverage. Choose an IP address within the range of your hotspot.
