there is a separate manual for the b1 four that has all the effects listed by category. there are a number of effects that can only be accessed and loaded into the b1 four by attaching it to a computer with the guitar lab software. the hpf or lpf are some of them. The inherent tone of the Katana Bass 210 kind of reminded me of the baked-in character of a Sansamp set fairly clean. The Boss was cleaner, obviously, but there was an inherent scoop to the sound with an emphasis on a full and punchy, yet somewhat undefined low bass frequency, and an upper treble grind.

I was drawn to acoustic bass guitar as it allowed for acoustic expressiveness that can’t be found with electric bass.The epoxy coating does change the sound a bit. Gives a bit brighter highs. If the bass is defretted you must fill the fret slots and sand level before applying epoxy. It's not easy to get a professional looking job but it can be done.
